Just read in my Google Reader that Blaster Master is coming to the VC. I haven’t thought about this gem since I was sitting on the couch playing it. What a remarkable game for its time; a superb combination of Metroid and Mario. Can someone please get started on a DS remake of this beautiful, inorganic being?
And the music….simply outstanding.

Yeah, it was really frackin hard. Especially with no save points and infrequent use of passwords.

There was either a remake or a sequel if my memory serves me right for the original playstation. I’ll have to google it to see if i’m right or i’m just getting senile…
